INSI, a Brazilian technology and innovation company with 34 years of experience, has a solid track record based on its purpose of fostering human growth through technology. With record growth for three consecutive years (2019 to 2021) and consistently recognized as a Great Place to Work for the past five years (since 2019), we are proud of the growth, transformation, and evolution we are experiencing together with the entire INSI Team (as we refer to the extensive team of our 3,000 employees).
Aware of the need for improvements toward a more diverse and inclusive environment, we have strived in recent years to design and implement several initiatives to make our workplace better for everyone. Therefore, in 2022, we launched INSI Plural, a program that values the diversity of the INSI Team, promotes multiculturalism, equity, and inclusion, and recognizes that each person is unique. INSI Plural believes that creativity and innovation arise from people's perspectives, knowledge, and skills, while also representing INSI's commitment to excellence, ethics, and social responsibility. Currently, this program supports initiatives such as INSI League, the Trainee Program, Women in Tech, and the Inclusion Program for People with Disabilities. Below, we list some of the most recent initiatives in favor of diversity and inclusion:
People with Disabilities
The Inclusion Program for People with Disabilities aims to promote a culture of diversity, identify, hire, and train people, and place them on a journey of inclusion. Examples of actions we conduct:
- Awareness-raising workshops for the entire INSI Team;
- Training for the Attraction and Selection team;
- Technology training program for People with Disabilities in partnership with #TeuFuturo, training more than 100 people with disabilities;
- Review of the selection, hiring, onboarding, and monitoring processes for people with disabilities;
- Support and mentoring for all leaders of people with disabilities;
- Support and mentoring for people with disabilities;
- Referral program for people with disabilities;
- Affinity group.
Multigenerational
At INSI Team, we value diversity and inclusion of talent of all ages. We have specific programs to attract people at different stages of life and career, from students to seniors. In this area, we have the INSI League and the Young Apprentice Program.
-
INSI League: an acceleration program aimed at students who want to start their careers in technology at INSI. Currently, there are approximately 100 Leaguers, aged 15 to 73, present in all regions of Brazil and abroad.
-
Young Apprentice Program: an initiative that seeks to provide work and learning opportunities for young people beginning their professional careers. Since the program's inception, we have enabled more than 120 young people to enter the job market in Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, and Minas Gerais.
Multiculturalism
We strive to be a company that values the individual characteristics of each person, recognizing that the sum of different cultures, values, and customs contributes to innovative and creative initiatives at different points in our journey. This contributes to our human growth, which is why multiculturalism is an inherent quality in the DNA of the entire INSI Team. Here, we grow and learn together. We are 3,000 people, spread across 14 countries and over 350 different cities worldwide. We are also young, old, and old. People of different races, ethnicities, citizenship statuses, genders, and disabilities, but with the same purpose: to promote human growth with technology.
Women in Tech
Women in Tech is an ongoing, recurring program fully aligned with INSI's vision and values. It has already carried out several internal and external initiatives since its creation in 2021. We have already organized a series of initiatives related to women in technology, across key pillars, to ensure that no audience is left out. We're proud of our current 2024 numbers and that we're on the right track toward gender equity. Below, we'll share some highlights from the Women in Tech pillar and examples of initiatives in this area:
- 50% of board positions are held by women;
- 46% of leadership positions are held by women;
- 99% pay equality in technology positions between men and women by 2024;
- Women in Tech Connections: meetings of INSI Team women at INSI headquarters to share experiences and support;
- The Next Gen: two editions of our program to encourage female entrepreneurship, with over 200 startups founded or led by women registered and a R$1.5 million investment from INSI Ventures.
These numbers reflect our genuine efforts in recent years. We believe that competence has no gender and that affirmative action is important to create space and accelerate the achievement of a gender-equitable environment. Our initiatives have been recognized by the market both in Brazil and globally. In 2023, for example, we were recognized in five Women in Tech awards, a source of pride for the entire INSI.
Salary Transparency Report – 2022
Reaffirming our commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace and in compliance with the provisions of Federal Law No. 14,611/2023, MTE Ordinance No. 3,714, and Decree No. 11,795/2023, we are releasing the Annual Salary Equality Report for the CNPJs that comprise INSI. The information presented was compiled in full compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018), ensuring data anonymization. The report is based on the Brazilian Classification of Occupations (CBO), a document that describes existing professions in Brazil (for classification purposes only, with no regulatory authority). The data presented was provided by the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Federal Government and took into account information from the 2022 e-Social database. The report also uses a classification by large groups, which is not typical of more modern market practices and does not compare equal positions, but rather combines different positions, creating distortions. See the information provided by the Government in the following reports for 2022: CNPJ 93655173001010 3, CNPJ 93655173000633 3, CNPJ 93655173000714 3, CNPJ 93655173000552 3.
We reiterate our commitment to maintaining work practices that respect diversity and promote equality. In 2024, we're proud to announce that we have 99% pay equity in technology positions across INSI. And we're committed to further advancing this and all other areas that promote a better environment for everyone.
