INSI and the [Dom Cabral Foundation] (https://www.fdc.org.br/) jointly launched a first-of-its-kind study in Brazil, the National Study on Digital Evolution and Business Innovation, which maps the innovation and digital transformation of companies in Brazil. FDC has over 45 years of history, is the 9th best business school in the world, and offers the most innovative national and international educational solutions. Currently, it has offices in Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
The study will enable the construction of a digital maturity map for Brazilian companies. This mapping is intended for senior IT management and C-level executives from all economic sectors in the country and has four main pillars: organizational culture, technology, strategy, and digital processes.

Telmo Costa, CEO of INSI, and Paula Simões, Executive Vice President of FDC, signing the partnership agreement for the next three years. The partnership was finalized in early October](https://forbes.com.br/forbes-tech/2022/10/meta-e-fundacao-dom-cabral-se-aliam-para-mapear-a-inovacao-no-brasil/) (October 4th), at the headquarters of Fundação Dom Cabral in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, and was attended by INSI's CEO and founder, Telmo Costa, FDC's executive vice president, Paula Simões, and Hugo Tadeu, Director of FDC's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. The partnership was signed for the next three years. ## Year 1 The National Study on Digital Evolution and Business Innovation, conducted by INSI and Fundação Dom Cabral, analyzed the digital maturity of Brazilian companies, highlighting the progress and challenges of this transformation.
A crucial finding is that only 16% of companies conduct comprehensive digital maturity assessments. The study also showed that 45% of executives point to organizational culture as the biggest challenge in digital transformation, reinforcing that digital evolution is not just about technology, but also about people.
The study concluded that digital transformation is essential for business competitiveness and sustainability. Advancing this journey requires a balance between innovation, technology, and a focus on people, placing organizational culture and the customer at the center of strategies.

Year 2
In a new phase, INSI presents even more robust data and strategic insights, bringing the second-year study focused on artificial intelligence, the Study on Innovation and Applied Artificial Intelligence, to understand the business challenges faced by companies in relation to this new technology, consolidating its position as a reference in the field.
The study's insights also highlight that companies that invest strategically in AI can overcome challenges and generate more significant results. The report suggests that organizations that integrate AI as a driver of transformation, rather than just as a one-off tool, have greater adaptability in a dynamic and competitive market.
