The Metacast episode on April 13, 2022, was unique in every way. It broke from the usual Tuesday schedule by airing on a Wednesday and focused on a review of the week's highlight: Agile Trends. For context, this is one of the largest agility conferences in the country. This year, INSI was a master sponsor, delivering talks, hosting a booth for audience interaction, talent acquisition, and exclusive agility discussions with company experts. On top of that, INSI won an award for its Agile Transformation case at Aurora Alimentos. To share all the details, the panel featured key INSI representatives: Adriana Tavares – Head of Digital Solutions, Dian Costa – Head of Agility, Fernando Ruano – Head of LACE, and Ricardo Miluzzi – Business Solutions Engineer. Beyond the event, they discussed agility and the multiple paths organizations can take to adopt it.

To kick things off, the guests shared their impressions of the first days. The standout moment was the return to an in-person format after two years of virtual events. “The best part was reconnecting with friends. Seeing everyone we used to meet at events, being close again—that was the highlight,” Dian shared enthusiastically. Other notable aspects included networking, knowledge sharing, and talks with relevant content.

Regarding the event’s tracks, the panel noted the diverse range of agility-related topics. One compelling theme was Agile Digital Transformation. Another highlight was Innovation—how to deliver value differently to create new impact. This was a key discussion at Agile Trends. Tracks also connected to themes like cultural change, innovation, and digital experience (DX), with data also being a focus. Leadership tracks had their space, fostering both enterprise change management and helping agilists understand the executive perspective on projects.

Time da INSI

A critical point raised was the importance of ‘people.’ Ultimately, everything comes back to them because a company only exists due to the human factor driving its operations. Without employees, a company is just an empty concrete shell. Thus, shaping company culture means investing in people. Disruption must start with individuals to enable innovation. For instance, a team needs permission to innovate, but a leadership that stifles this makes it impossible. Identifying and addressing barriers to change is essential to making it happen.

During the Q&A, one question focused on agility’s impact on leadership models, particularly “Management 3.0.” Expert Ricardo Miluzzi shared his perspective, emphasizing empowering people over managing an ecosystem as a whole, creating a space where people feel happy and collaborative. “This ties closely to agility. How do we create a great environment where professionals want to engage? How do we distribute roles? We focus on communication, recognition, and showing people the value of their contributions. It’s about making the obvious even clearer,” Miluzzi explained. Fernando Ruano added that a one-size-fits-all environment won’t work. Respecting people’s differences and fostering an inspiring environment tailored to those distinctions is key.

The episode wrapped up with an exciting giveaway of a INSI t-shirt, mug, and an agility book. Want to know the winner, get details on each talk from our amazing team, and see all the questions they answered? Check out the full videocast.
